Documentation
Instruction-ready detail below
A deal sits at the same stage for five weeks because one stakeholder stopped replying, and nobody raises it until the forecast call. By then the close date has already moved and the rep has no story for why. This workflow watches the pipeline for the things that precede a stall. It checks the days since the last real conversation, how many people in the buying group have engaged against how many there are, the age of the close date, and how many times the stage has moved backwards. A deal crossing any of those thresholds gets a short note naming the specific reason and one action the rep could take this week, rather than a generic warning. Stage changes with no recorded reason are flagged too, because a rep who cannot say why a deal slipped will slip the same way again. A deal that is quiet for a reason the owner already knows is marked as watched rather than alerted, which keeps the alert list short enough to read. A human still decides whether the deal is genuinely lost, and whether to reforecast it or work it.
