Instruction-ready detail below
Each tier reports position against its own order and its own calendar, so the consolidated picture has to be assembled by phone and email before anyone can see that a part will be late. This workflow collects milestones from every tier, from the goods receipt through the subassembly to the finished item, and holds them against a single plan date rather than several. A milestone that slips, or simply stops moving, is reported as at risk against the shipment that depends on it and ranked by what it puts at risk: a customer order, a build slot, a promotion date. A gap is treated as a fact rather than as good news, so a tier that has not reported is shown as unknown instead of assumed on time. The weekly view lists the items putting the most revenue and the most customer promises at risk, with the action already taken against each. What a human still decides is the plan date itself, whether a slip is worth expediting or absorbing, and which customer hears about it first.
